Bathroom Design – Residential Conversion

Our client recently moved into a new home where an underutilised snug presented an opportunity for transformation into a contemporary bathroom.

The design reimagines the existing chimney breast as a defined alcove, creating a natural focal point for the basin and mirror. To improve functionality and flow, the entrance was reconfigured, allowing for the introduction of a full-height storage cabinet.

The generous proportions of the room enabled the inclusion of a spacious, built-in shower, enclosed by tiled walls to create a clean, seamless finish without the need for additional glass screens.

The result is a calm, modern space that balances practicality with refined design, tailored to suit the client’s everyday needs.
